Project Summary
The Annie E. Casey Foundation (AECF) acquired 53 properties in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of southwest Atlanta, consisting of multi-family, single-family, and commercial redevelopment sites. AECF engaged CPRD to evaluate the portfolio and devise a community development plan for individual assets to incentivize community revitalization and create mixed-income housing. After program design, CPRD facilitated the implementation of multiple development initiatives, programs, and partnerships with private and nonprofit developers through a multi-phased development plan. As a result, all of the homes were successfully developed and sold or rented as mixed-income housing with the creation of 70 units scattered throughout the neighborhood.
