Project Summary
CPRD collaborated with the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s team from Washington, DC to provide local stakeholder and community engagement for the creation of Sweet Auburn Works, a historic Main Street revitalization program. The Main Street approach focuses on transformation strategies and tactics that help strengthen a historic district’s commercial economy. These strategies are organized around economic vitality, design, promotion and organization. CPRD advised on local market data and facilitated community and stakeholder meetings for the visioning and creation of the Main Street program with support from the NTHP national model and resources.
