Project Summary

Originally built as a service station in 1948, the Harp Transmission building owner for the past 44 years until the owner retired in 2016. CPRD managed the urban design in collaboration with Square Feet Studio for the project to be repositioned as a “park-oriented development.” The design incorporates the original structure into the first floor commercial space and provides a pedestrian connection through the park. The design intent was to integrate with and activate the linear Memorial Drive Greenway park by creating an outdoor living room and community gathering space.

The property sits within the Memorial Drive Greenway, It’s located adjacent to Oakland Cemetery, surrounding retail and MARTA, and walkable to the Georgia Capitol, Grant Park, Sweet Auburn, Zoo Atlanta, BeltLine, and Streetcar.
