Project Summary
CPRD collaborated with KB Advisory Group as a subcontractor for the creation of a Community Revitalization Plan for the City of Blue Ridge, GA to support the affordable housing development by the Searles Foundation utilizing LIHTC funding. The City of Blue Ridge has experienced a lack of housing affordability due to increase in values and limited developable land for new housing supply. This in turn has caused an economic development challenge for local businesses struggling to find employees that are able to live nearby or willing to commute from more accessible areas. CPRD focused on the socioeconomic analysis, infrastructure evaluation, and policy recommendations to improve the quality of life and economic well-being of Blue Ridge.
